Appian Developer

Deft Consulting is looking for an Appian Developer to assist in Appian Business Process Management software implementations. Appian Developers leverage Appian’s industry leading Intelligent Business Process Management platform to automate business workflows and increase efficiency for new and existing business processes. Additionally, Appian Developers focus on prevailing Agile methodologies to ensure unmatched speed to delivery on one of the industry’s most innovative platforms.

Gov’t Requirements:

US citizenship required due to client project requirements

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise-level BPM applications
  • Translate business process software requirement specifications into prototypes and solutions
  • Support data gathering and analysis to facilitate risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Deliver projects using Agile development methodology

Required:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience on Appian projects
  • Minimum of (1) year experience with Agile (Scrum) software development
  • Strong grasp of Agile concepts, including understanding of terms and applicable ceremonies
  • Strong grasp of Appian functional concepts
  • Capable of interpreting, analyzing, and communicating business requirements to development team
  • Excellent communication, with no difficulties understanding or being understood
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Passion for technology and innovation
  • Understands high-level database concepts

Preferred:

  • IT consulting experience
  • Appian Certification
